hm, how would i bring a wired ethernet to my laptop when used with the big monitor, i have seen monitors with builtin ethernet, that would be cool, but i probably cannot reason that expenditure?

@pony cable connected, looks fine.but the ax wifi is good for me as well so I never needed this for notebook (and desktop has its own RJ45).

@hny yeah, no reason it would not(i need a cable for the macbook because i edit photos on it that are stored on my "server" over smb and it's honestly noticeably slower on wifi)

@pony I have no idea to be honest. Maybe USB-3 isn't that fancy any more. And maybe some of those monitors have eth in them although maybe not.
