My husband and I have this concept called a "cat story" cats have rather short attention spans (for things like stories, and words) so cat stories are very short and to the the point. Here is a very popular "scary" cat story:"and then they ATE the kitty"That's the whole story. It's very popular to tell around a fire while camping. Here is another "cat story""So the kitty ate them ALL."This is a more positive story, obviously.

@futurebird I dispute the premise that cats have short attention spans. You haven't seen a couple of them posted up waiting on a mouse under the refrigerator for days. A cat can hold a grudge longer than you can remember why. We had a cat who got between the walls, which gave him access to the attic by shimmying up two stories, and he was obsessed with the cupboard that hid the portal for the rest of his life.
