       Square Enix fucked up Kingdom Hearts 3 by going all in on the Disney stuff and leaving out any Final Fantasy. After messing up KH3 they let Nomura split Final Fantasy 7 into 3 parts and ruin the story by  making it not actually a remake but a semi-remake semi-reimagining sequel. Then they fucked up FF16 by making it exclusive to the PS5 which  nobody bought, also it ended up just being a bit disappointing. They let western writers create Forspoken which absolutely nobody wanted.So now they're cleaning house and hoping to get things back on track. They have to totally gut their western branches to get anywhere near fixing their sinking ship.
