@futurebird I've shared my home with many cats over the years, and they force me to sign a contract ensuring lots of food, regular box cleaning (or else), and a claws stipulating that they pay no taxes.

@futurebird as noblemen, they don't owe taxes, they are owed taxes from the population of their land.they do have a duty to provide military support in case of a rodent invasion, and to generally keep their villagers safe from said rodents.entertaining the humans by playing with them is not a duty, but a Custom instead, and you need a really good reason to skip the Customs.
