@ricci What I always found interesting is that all their 'top' magazines (Vouge, Architectural Digest, Bon Appetite) all are just the same basic fashion mag, with slight differing subject.

@ricci I'm furious that Conde Nast is cutting political reporting across its line, but I'm not convinced that canceling my subscription to one of the publications that's still doing excellent political journalism (Wired) is the most effective form of protest.

@ricci @lisamelton I just cancelled my long time subscription to Ars Technica in protest. Luckily their cancel subscription workflow allows you to state the exact reason.

@ricci I cancelled my life-long subscription to Vogue after they did a disgusting profile of Bashar and Mrs. Al-Assad. I could not believe they would give those torturers their hagiography treatment. But I still had Elle magazine!And then Elle fired E. Jean Carroll immediately after she came forward to accuse Trump of having raped her.So then I had to cancel that subscription.Corporate media are a disgusting arm of the corrupt American corporate class. @ricci From what I gather, they are a vile organisation. Really, just dump all subscriptions to anything of theirs.Someone once described them as "Condescending and Nasty". Nothing I have heard since has changed that view of them.
