       I'll stop you right there - consumers aren't demanding these features. They are saying "we need to have more features, lets put this shit in there" and people are like "uhhh .. ok whatever?"And in fact, people are getting sick of it as you can see by a company trying to make things all buttons again.

       @sickburnbro I actually want no features, no backup cam, no power windows, no cruise control I want a modern completely mechanical vehicle that costs a fraction of the current models. I believe that's illegal though.

       @sickburnbro I wish I could buy a brand new 2003 Honda Civic every 20 years or so. But even if we did get decent autos soon, the WEF ghouls would just make 80% of every road and highway bike lanes anyway because they hate seeing poors with the ability to travel freely.

       Some of the modern features are useful. But they also added a whole bunch of nonsense. A car should be useable without RTFM first. That means a reasonable number of buttons and no features that need to be controlled from deep in some menu.
