       I finally could apply for Thai long-term visa (DTV). Thanks to @nlnet for funding my projects (and me :).If everything goes well, I'll be able to apply for Shengen/Japan visas from Thailand and travel for conferences and other fun stuff.One can apply for those visas only from country, where you have a long-term residence. Right now I don't have permanent residence anywhere (except Russia, but I don't have plans to come back to it unless the war is finished). So this is a big deal for me!)

       Paperwork is my personal hell. I spent 1 more day preparing additionally requested documents for visa and explanation about FOSS work, grants, donations and occasional contracts.Luckily, I can do it remotely and don't need to fly to HCMC (Saigon). Still extremely annoying. Why it's not enough to have a pretty git commit history to get a visa? 😄 Why the hell we have those visa stuff at all? :/

       Something tells me that I can get a reject for a visa and will lose 340 USD application fee.For the context, I've wrote 3 pages motivation letter/portfolio today and attached my bank statements showing necessary amount of savings and proof of my current location (all visa stamps+renting contract).
