@net_gremlin Jepp, danke für den Hinweis. Den Blog habe ich in der Vorabrecherche auch gelesen. Zum Start mit Android habe ich mich bewusst für e/OS / Murena entschieden. Privat nutze ich ausschließlich Apple, bin also seit JAhren anerkannter Datenspender ;-)

@DerJoerg @net_gremlin /e/ has far worse privacy and security than iOS. Their services are also much less private and secure than Apple services.A very simple example is that Apple does speech-to-text locally while the Murena implementation sends the user's audio stream to OpenAI without informing them beyond the fine print in the terms of use. Murena falsely claims it's anonymized data because it passes through an /e/ server before going to OpenAI. This is representative of how they compare.

@DerJoerg GrapheneOS doesn't have a for-profit company owned by shareholders like Murena. GrapheneOS is a privacy and security hardened OS while /e/ is an extraordinarily insecure and non-private being marketed as private when it isn't./e/ is set up to maximize returns for Murena shareholders and obtain money from EU grants to build the products they're selling, which is outrageously corrupt. What they're doing is harming people with a far less private and secure option than iPhones to profit.
