The Danish government has been mandating the use of the feed additive Bovaer in the national cattle herd. This initiative started in April 2024, when the government allocated 518 million Danish crowns (approximately $74 million) to finance the feed additive. By January 2025, farmers began facing fines for not including this harmful chemical in their cattle feed.“Critics argue that the long-term effects of the additive on animal health and the environment are still unknown.”Danish farmers report concerning issues with their cows after they were fed Bovaer. The farmers have observed that their cows developed fevers, diarrhea, and mastitis. One of the farmers has even experienced the death of six cows following the feeding of Bovaer.https://rvivr.com/2025/04/is-denmark-poisoning-its-cattle-for-the-bogus-climate-change-myth/
