       I left just as two kiwi girls were jumping up and down squeeeeing about something in the baseball game. To be clear this is US "World Series" baseball, which as far as I can tell, only ever has USA teams playing.

       @essjax yes, it's always seemed a bit off to me, given that it's only ever US (and token Canadian) teams in it. I'm told by those more globally minded that the Japanese, Filipion, and Mexicans (and maybe Costa Ricans, Panamanians, and Cubans?) would wipe the floor with the US teams in a fair competition... The colonised/oppressed beating the colonisers at their own game... aorta like cricket for the UK. 😁
