       @FatesApologist @Ghislaine A lot of states are putting up their own money to fund it for about a month.

       @Ghislaine How many of them are actually running on empty ebt accounts? My guess is only the ones running scams.

       @Ghislaine @john_darksoul I'd get about 40 a month every month. It doesn't actually stop even when you tell them directly you don't need it anymore, and the balance increases indefinitely and doesn't actually expire. In theory, it's so you can get stuff every other month while also working. In actuality, well you already know

       @Watamelon @Ghislaine 40 a month? That’s nothing.

       @john_darksoul @Ghislaine That's for a single person/"household". If you're married and/or have kids you get more, I think the cap is 200 per family per month. Multiple "households"/individuals can get on it as well and you'll keep it even if you move in somewhere else later on. It's wild

       @Watamelon @Ghislaine No, that’s ridiculous. This is the average benefit. It varies based on income. 0 income can be as high as $300 in benefits.

       @john_darksoul @Ghislaine I wouldn't be surprised if they just hit a roulette in the state offices to see what you get in determination since it's all over the place for recipients even in the same states, even if your cost of living in your location turbodiddymolests your income source(s)
