       @futurebird You remind me of Oliver Wendall Jones being consulted for computer support. I don't have the comic panels anymore, but IIRC he first advised the owner, "Please put the computer on the phone." This was followed by a pep talk to the misbehaving computer: "TOASTER PARTS, YOU HEAR ME?! TOASTER PARTS!"

       @futurebird I mean, I agree that the computer should never be held accountable. It's just that they seem to feel that that means that accountability stops when it hits the computer. But you and I agree that responsibility, like a 20,000 amp current, flows right back through the computer, to the finger that pushed the button.
