       @volpeon @MegaMichelle i wonder if they engaged fediblock or something. None of my pleroma instances are there but my peertube instance however is. Something really fucky going on.cc @wrmsr @stefanimage.png

       @wrmsr @MegaMichelle @volpeon @stefan understandable, but this also REALLY skews the statistics, so I'd suggest two things:1. contacting developers to adjust their default robots.txt2. putting a notice that software default robots.txt skews the statistics

       @wrmsr @MegaMichelle @volpeon @stefan understandable. I made a MR to allow fediindex by default in pleroma https://git.pleroma.social/pleroma/pleroma/-/merge_requests/4391

       @wrmsr @hj @MegaMichelle @volpeon @stefan robots.txt applies to crawlers. Accessing publically available endpoints with a standardised address is not crawling. A bunch of fedi software (akkoma, misskey, friendica) do that as well and no one complains; I fail to see how a standalone statistics aggregator is any different. At worst some paranoid admins might shriek, but in that case they're free to block the useragent on their server's side.See fedilist.com's admin blogpost: https://blog.freespeechextremist.com/blog/about-fedilist.html
