Wow! I didn't think #KingCharles would go this far, but he has. The formal process to strip Andrew of his Prince title, as well as all his other titles & honours is underway. He is also kicked out of Royal Lodge. Henceforth he is known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. What a downfall for the arrogant, immoral SOB.#RoyalFamily #PrinceAndrew

Good move by Charles, they're all on notice now that being born with a silver spoon in your mouth is no longer an irrevocable license to do whatever the hell you want, regardless of who gets hurt. I'm no fan of monarchy, in the UK or in general, but I do think that's a small step in the right direction.

@strypey I am a monarchist. The benefits they bring to England are enormous in so many ways. That said, however, it also means they have a huge responsibility to be the leading citizens their position creates. Andrew's behaviour has been atrocious. Harry's behaviour has been a huge disappointment with Meghan's behaviour closely mimicking Sarah Ferguson's: both trading on their royal status. The Harry & Meghan saga is still in its early days.

I hated that' "Fergie" nickname the tabloids gave her.That shitbag Andrew OTOH deserves much worse than he's getting. If there was any justice he'd be in prison, not living high on the hog despite this royal dressing down.

@strypey Oh, I don't think Andrew's troubles are behind him. I wouldn't be surprised to see some legal charges against him in the future. The difference is now he doesn't have the shield of royalty. The royal family will not protect him.
