       @kaia honestly i don't understand why people love tolkien so much. he's of course a very good writer but there are many more, and the ring trilogy especially is not the most riveting work.

       @lain most of it is not due to the books, but because of the movies, video games, board games etc. therefore it's not an obsession with Tolkien but with whatever the secondary media transformed his books into :menherathunk:
