       @OccuWorld It's hard to know what the mind state of other animals is, certainly with Gorillas like Koko, we understand their inner world is very similar but what about a fly or a mouse?  My view is that sentience is something that does not have a biological necessity, and so we have to ask if it is really an evolutionary product?  At any rate, I, seem to be somewhat alone, in my believe, that it is worth preserving.
