neurotypical fuckers are always like "autistic people have trouble following directions" and then hand me a form that asks if I have a history of bike helmet

@foone neurotypicals will say autistic people are bad at following directions and then completely ignore most driving rules (especially the ones that even anarchists follow for safety reasons)

@foone meanwhile they're like "oh that rule doesn't apply to me" while the neurospicy folks are colouring in the lines like their very life depends on it

@foone neurobasic folks mistake assumptions for direction and get offended when something questions those assumptions.

@foone So years ago I was a PhD student doing some some field work and drove the university's pickup for 300m in a literal field in the middle of nowhere, and my boss decided that driving was one of my job duties and made me go through all the tests and evaluations for professional drivers. And in the psychological exam they asked if I would ingest a substance knowing it might have harmful or weird consequences, and I said, yeah, I go out for beers sometimes, alcohol is pretty toxic, and I take an aspirin every now and then, and the possible side effects are quite scary, have you ever read the leaflet?, and the psychologist said that I need to be re-evaluated, because I sound psychopathic. 🤷🏽♀️Like, seriously, driving 300m in an old pickup truck in a frozen field got me there, and all of a sudden I'm the problem?

@foone I'm going to assume that the reason why Arch is said to be hard to install, is all the neurotypicals who tried it. I just followed the instructions. It was easier than a lot of Windows installs I've done, and before I switched my laptop to Arch, I hadn't touched any flavor of *nix in the last 10 years. 20 if you exclude the web server I only set up for a college project.

@foone I want whatever the creator of that form was smoking.
