When I release this webcomic within the next few weeks, if it miraculously does well enough for me to actually live off of it and not die because I can’t afford to eat, then I’ll pull the hard, long 😩💦 hours to meet ppl’s expectations for reviving and putting out The Creator’s Trinket (Road Bump) and I’ll make it as indulgent, comfy and sexually satisfying as my fanart of my old shotahet ships used to be. Easy. But I need to eat and it’s not gratifying to make art people don’t show up for.

It’s so easy to make emotional and tender ship art all day and I’m here making better stories than anyone has attempted in my personal tastes while utilizing those components as integral to the narrative without even getting a chance to see it through because I keep having to live in survival mode. I can’t wait to show off what I’m capable of if I can get to that safety net. I wish people weren’t so unrealistic and unreasonably demanding of artists to satisfy them personally on a time crunch

While expecting them to forgo survival to be an art machine and somehow live without needing to be fed and watered, then getting angry and destroying artists when they can’t meet that expectation of giving them the art they want because they have to give it up to meet basic needs, then get mad at artists again when they do give them what they want and need compensation to eat just to keep putting art out. Screws loose. Literally dumber than cabbage. I Hope those people and our society explode.
