And 15 minutes for their main software used in classes to load. Before you could even start to work on something, half of the class time already passed.

I kinda like it, but we don't have a large infra and every company branch runs almost everything in their own office space so it's mostly bare metal hardware you can touch and not some cloud bs like AWS that drains your soul all day. It's a good thing because Lenovo also had a "oopsie" that week and decided to send the parts that were supposed to go to FedEx to the customer.I had to go back days later once they found the part in the shared mail room and that same week at another site there was an incident in which another tech opened my box up and complained the wrong part was sent, not even checking the tracking number, mailed my part back, and left me with the part he needed for his repair instead.My old tech job was where you'd go when you couldn't get into the shit-tier MSP jobs because you don't have enough certs or couldn't meet their weird interview schedule or whatever. The shit I saw there convinced me that everything I read on certain parts of the web was true.

That poor Leninovo X1 Gen whatever lasted like 3 hours on battery and constantly ran fans at 50% speed from all the garbage upper management thought was important. Not to mention the company internal spyware that you aren't supposed to talk about to anybody.
