@i nothing in the journalctl logs relevant except a bunch of proxy errors from the workers, i can't reproduce the problem either so i dunno how i'd be able to catch the error message live in iex or something. no clue what to do here

@kirby Don't remember by now even if I did. Looking at sources right now, it seems 403 route here is taken in account_controller.ex when `conn` doesn't contain an `{assings: {app}}` key. I'm guessing something is wrong with oauth app on either BE or FE. Worth trying clearing local storage/indexed db in affected browser or try another one, in case it's nonexistent oauth app being cached on FE.

@mint the captcha was another bad source of issues when deploying this fork initially. pretty sure this problem is just the bug i experienced when signing up to eientei in 2023 though, if you have really bad latency when signing up to an instance it just doesn't let you create oauth token

@kirby >the captcha was another bad source of issues when deploying this fork initiallyIt's in Go, you need to have it installed. @iamtakingiteasy@ieintei.org's right, sometimes some shit from previous session gets stuck in localstorage, not letting you make a new account without clearing the cache or going private window.
