       Hey MAHA (Make America Healthy Again is what RFK calls his... "movement" ... ) Trump just had a doctor's appointment and just like me and many other people he got TWO vaccines: the COVID booster and the yearly flu shot. That's what the medical community has agreed is the best option. Because Flu is bad and COVID is worse. Watch the rich a powerful carefully. They will say "you don't need vaccines YOU don't need college. etc." But what do they DO?

       Did Barron go to a school with an "anti woke" curriculum? He did not! Because you need to know what really happened in history if you are going to make good decisions. At the private schools they have a doctor come to the school to offer shots. Because they also know vaccines only keep you safe if most of the people around you have them too.Come on, think about it.

       @doncish If both someone like me and Trump have decided it's a good idea ... there isn't much room for it being a bad idea. Trump is very old, his health isn't good. A flu could end it for the guy. And now I need to stop talking.

       I used to think it was a little silly and invasive that the president's health is considered to be this very public thing. But, I've learned it's very important. RFK doesn't need to release this kind of information. But I bet there is a doctor somewhere who knows that bastard got his shots too. Because why risk it? Let the poors take their chances with their worthless little lives, not me!

       @GreenSkyOverMe No. Not really. They did this in the 60s and 70s but they also had a "school dentist" in big NYC schools then too. We got rid of all of that "pork"

       @futurebird In 1998 in Massachusetts they asked me to come to some school-related medical office to get shots mandatory for attending public school (I didn’t go because I had them - my German pediatrician just had declined to put all in my international vaccine ID and had only put the last one grrrr) (weirdly the school / med office just dropped the topic when I said I actually have them)

       @futurebird they're only partially smart about it tho: if they were operating with a fuller picture of the problem, they'd want to slow the rate of emergence of new variants (because even if you're vaccinated, every infection comes with new damage, new risks of long covid). To do that, they'd need to slow the mutation rate. To do *that*, they'd need to slow the rate at which the virus makes copies of itself.
