       @Redrabbit85 In the '90s I did a lot of comedy dinner theater in San Jose, CA at a place called Big Lil's Cabaret.  It was always a comedy melodrama play followed by vaudeville style acts to a beer-drinking, popcorn-throwing crowd - hecklers welcomed/dared. I was usually the villain or the hero in the melodrama. We had one of the best ragtime piano players, a natural master, "Professor" James Burlingame. He set the ambiance and in the moment tones for everything. Still friends.
