       @amerika @PNS No, day drinking is just drinking during the day.  It happens in restaurants and other social situations.Pre-gaming is budget drinking.  Usually at home or in a parking lot before going to the place with expensive drinks.Cocktails at this venue start at $16.  Water is $6.  I'm having some of each at home.

       @tj @PNS Hmm, that's a point. I always considered "day drinking" as an activity in itself, and that it had to be at home because anything else was too expensive to reach the requisite alcohol load.

       @tj @PNS Like, for me, two beers at a restaurant would not qualify.Day drinking means 13 Milwaukee's Best shotgunned while mowing the lawn and later, dismembering the guy down the street who was a little too familiar with the wife.
