In other words, the reduction in CO2 production we would require to curb global heating would be even greater.

       @rms That is even more horrifying than glaciers melting and sea level rise. Melting is 'throw you back to the 1850s' stuff. Photosynthesis going wonky is 'throw you back to the Stone Ages'.God help us. No indication we plan on doing anywhere near enough to help ourselves.
