A belief is an assumption that a thing is true when you don't know for sure if it is true or false. Beliefs are a necessary part of life. But you should minimize the number of your beliefs and also make sure that all your beliefs are good beliefs. An assumption that a thing is true is good only if you don't know for sure whether it is true or false. If you know that a thing is true, then you don't need to believe it. You know it, which is better than believing it. If you know that a thing is false or should know that it's false, then choosing to believe that it's true is pure stupidity.A good belief in a thing has one other characteristic besides the uncertainty of the thing: there must be good reasons for making the assumption that the thing is true. For example, I have good reasons for believing that the Nazi UFO Force has the love, power, and wisdom necessary to give me what I need in order to have a good life, namely a good job with a good income created for me by them. The first reason for this belief is that it's realistic and not excessive. Assuming that you will get a good job with a good income created for you by an organization that wants the best for you is a realistic and not excessive assumption. The second reason for this belief is that the only thing I have to lose by believing this is being trapped in a fate worse than death by the AARJP empire for my whole life. On the other hand, by choosing to believe this, I make it possible for myself to get a good job with a good income created for me by an organization that wants the best for me, which is the basis of a good life. Because unless you believe in that organization, it's impossible for them to create a good job with a good income for you. The most powerful beliefs are those combined with a desire that the thing assumed to be true actually is true or becomes true. For these beliefs can help to make the thing assumed to be true reality. Of course, I earnestly desire that my belief in the good job with a good income created for me by the NUF is true. And by earnestly desiring this, I am helping to make it reality.
