       @MountainJay This is probably something that is fairly common, objects passing through our solar system, but we've only recently developed the means of spotting them. Just the other day I saw an article about an asteroid that has been discovered "following" the earth in its orbit around the sun. It's estimated to have started doing that 60 years ago, but we've only now noticed it there.

       @MountainJay 3I/ATLAS, also known as C/2025 N1 and previously as A11pl3Z, is an interstellar comet discovered by the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System station. The comet follows an unbound, hyperbolic trajectory past the Sun. It will not come closer than 1.8 AU from Earth, so it poses no threat.

       @MountainJay this has been a thing for a while, and until recently i haven't seen anything too out of the ordinary reported but now i'm seeing (likely bs clickbait) videos and articles playing up how weird it is i wouldn't be surprised if the recent hype was just tptb turning up the volume on the story as some sort of distraction/ blue beam primer

No reliable source from me, just pure joy it is f.i.n.a.l.y. over. Almost. Just a wee bit to go and this pretend charade of "life" is over and real living starts.
