Then I saw that those stores were everywhere in the 'hood and nearly as ubiquitous as the extra unique fried chicken chains they get for their extra special needs and stuff. I have a now distant connection to British Columbians who were some of my first friends in the whole world, as improbable as that was... Still get cards on occasion, I think, but even if not, I still have to remember them all to the end of my time, because you always remember your firsts of whatever, maybe, or at least people used to back when people remembered things. Either way, God loved fucking with me relentlessly in that department + others.
