This thing is extremely picky about file formats and what it will and won't read is seemingly random. Haven't figured out a consistent method for getting my own pictures onto it yet lmao

May have made a discovery. Don't know if this is an irfanview issue or what but the camera refuses to open JPGs if the quality is set higher than 60. All the images it refused to open were the right file size (under 500KB) but the quality was >60

It can understand JPEGs from my Mavica perfectly fine, which is hilarious because the Mavica produces far better looking pictures

Hoooooly shit the printer is pulling ELEVEN AMPS off the battery when the density is set to max and it's in grayscale mode

For testing I've been using my bench supply instead of the stock battery because I don't want to charge the battery constantly and I've noticed that in grayscale mode the highlights in the prints get blown out pretty fast if the current is limited. Connected up a big battery and stuck my current clamp on it and I think it's able to provide as much current as the printer can pull. The prints are way denser and the highlights don't get blown out as much

Btw that's peak current, RMS current is about 6A and fluctuates a bit depending on how bright/dark what it's currently printing is
