       I have installed around ten apps to stay in touch with my contacts. My preferred one is still @signalapp, despite an issue I discovered yesterday.I recently tried Delta Chat (@delta ) and found it simple, with a clean and pleasant interface.Lately, I’ve been thinking about starting a group chat for practicing German. I even created a Matrix group, but now I’m wondering if Delta Chat might be a simpler option.#DeltaChat #Signal #decentralization

       @everton137 @signalapp @delta Deltachat is the hidden gem of secure communications software. Works on a lot of platforms, and is using a stable, tried and true base in the form of imap and smtp. I really like their design, and you can sign up anonymously, which you cannot with signal. I would use signal if they drop the requirement for having a phone number. That requirement basically makes it less anonymous in europe where ID is required to get a phone number.
