       ich kann in meinem #emacs keine files mehr öffnen -- ja was ist denn da los? ah, "too many open files", der emacsserver läuft doch erst seit 2 monaten und hat unter 500 offene buffer.jedenfalls die emacs-variante vom browser mit den vielen offenen tabs...

       @cm Wird wohl eher ein System-Limit sein als ein Emacs-Limit.ulimit -n  ## checkulimit -n 4096  ## set# checks:cat /proc/sys/fs/file-nrcat /proc/sys/fs/file-maxAber 500 Buffer sind schon ... eher ungewöhnlich. 🤷

       nein, das ist es nicht, sondern über 1000 offene kopien von tramp-archive.elc. wohl ein bug...
