       Someone uploads an "alleged preview" picture of artwork for an upcoming release of a unit for a miniature wargame.I say "looks AI generated to me"Bro-dudes come at me in spades.Long discussion.For shits and giggles I run the picture through the first three tools that come up when I ask duckduckgo "is this AI generated".All three tools say: Yes! 100%, 99% and 97% likelihood.Now if that picture is official artwork then I'm going to be pissed. But I doubt it. Well, we'll see.

       @SunDancer@metalhead.club Here's the thing, and I'm not shilling for AI bros because I hate it myself, but are AI detection tools really at all useful when they themselves tend to be AI, and the false positive rate is just hilariously high?

       This is getting silly.Dude-Bro "you know how I can unequivocally show you that it’s without a doubt NOT AI?"His proof:"AI wouldn’t duplicate the usage of the helmets from soldiers to soldier."Like... you sure bro? I'm pretty sure AI gotten better. harder to spot. It stopped using 3 fingers and three arms on humans. Sidenote: trying to find older information/posts on  Facepage really is getting harder and harder. It's curated to death. "show most recent, show most active or show all" but show all barely shows all. I wish wargaming would go back to forums.

       @amoonrabbit I don't know. And that's just the point. You can't be sure and hope for the best and trust your own senses. And mine  tell me (in this case) it's bad art and probably AI generated.
