       @LibrarianRA Necco wafers were a received as a treat when trick or treating candy. Neither myself, or other kids I knew growing up, ever bought Necco wafers.While not my favorite candy, I don't think Necco wafers tasted bad. Coloring licorice flavor Necco wafers purple was kind of evil, though. Oh, grape flavor! Oh, so not grape flavor. 🤣
