       Would anyone be able to get me a 39C3 ticket? I bought it from a fedi entity last time, where I paid half upfront over kofi and half on the spot in cash, they can confirm that I am trustworthy with that. They had like a table. Iirc sales start in a few weeks and ofc I will be unable to get any cuz I don't have any of the voucher things.        @ity i mean... just get one via the open sale? there's two dates for it, you just have to be there to click the captcha at the right second, and you've got it. early vouchers are just to make the process easier/faster.

       @ity nah man, i get through the queue every year. most people do. :) (i get an angel voucher, but help out friends who are in random places and can't connect at the right time or who are criminally bad at captchas.)i really wouldn't worry, it's totally fine to go through the regular queue! just get the reload at the exact second and do the captcha without bungling it up too hard.

       @happyturtlethings (If I push myself a bit I was thinking I might do a talk about how trivial it is to defeat BitLocker and Secure Boot on systems without Intel TXT. It's not really anything new but I think it's interesting, given it involves some light firmware binary reversing, modding and maybe some soldering. And yes that's easier for me than racing to do a captcha in time.)
