@seanogrady Thank you for the nourishing bite sized deep cut about food for thought. You mention beef being impacted hardest. I think the feed-conversion ratio for beef being the highest of all meat products is why. It makes beef more sensitive to the slowly rising feed prices. The feed prices have been steadily climbing for decades and are affected by both climate and ongoing wars. The cows are a canary in this sense.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feed_conversion_ratio
