       The refusal of some conservatives to acknowledge the actually history of the settlement of the North American continent has led them to a place where they will ensure the break up of the United States if they get their way. No matter how you spin it America has been always been a land of regional cultures. Even as late as the early 2000s you could tell where someone is from by how they talk. Using the force of the government can never make them the same.
