@interfluidity @arthegallDutch press is reporting that US pressure was also involved: Nexperia’s CN owners are blacklisted and Nexperia would also have trade restrictions applied to it.The official problem is that the CN CEO was allegedly committing control fraud, by forcing Nexperia to make huge pointless purchases from his other (troubled) firm. Both the CN and EU leaders of Nexperia asked NL gov to help! @interfluidity I honestly figured it had something to do with ASML (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASML_Holding) which would make the Netherlands a pretty natural option for this kind of thing to happen and was wondering if Atrios was making some deeper point about *Bolivia* but… I guess not :-(Ok thanks for explaining
