@Stomata "XMPP clients are ugly" — beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I never cared much about that aspect and #Jabber just works for me and friends and family 🤷

@Stomata As far as I can tell, people seems happy when using a matrix modern stack like the one provided in https://github.com/element-hq/ess-helm. Especially regarding calls, Element Call and MatrixRTC experience is way better than the legacy thing we had.
