       Does anyone know how I can contact the authors of Open Printer on Crowdsupply?https://www.crowdsupply.com/open-tools/open-printerI want to convince them that releasing software under a non-commercial license is a really bad idea and if they continue this project will fail.

       @Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com In the case of the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 the license would be free without the "-NC" portion, which stands for "non-commercial". I feel like it is a lot less confusing if I also give it that name so people know what I'm referring to instead of using the catch-all word "proprietary".If they used the CC BY-SA 4.0 instead there would be no such problems, as this license is free and also compatible with the GPLv3.

       @SuperDicq If people are confused when you refer to a creative commons license as proprietary - they'll ask you and you can explain why it's proprietary.CC BY-SA 4.0 is a completely different license to the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

       @SuperDicq CrowdSupply says there's a "Ask a question" button, but I can't find it, maybe it's only for registered users but I'm not sure.Another way may be trying to find member's email using Git, but this sounds sketchy
