       I had made my mind up not to get the flu shot anymore.  It was supposed to be mandatory at the hospital.  Several years after I quit taking it, two of the nurses in the ER got Guillain-Barre syndrome from it.  I got to watch those women die over the course of the next year.  Stuck on a vent and paralyzed by the syndrome.  There are worse things than death.
