       @mrpjevans Flowers did get a lot of credit, though clearly not sufficient, in A HISTORY OF COMPUTING IN THE 20TH CENTURY (Metropolis and Hewlitt?) early 80s. A collection of papers and interviews from the post office folk. It's sad and annoying to watch the story get corrupted into excessively simple and plain old wrong.
