@Ricardus I like flannel. I like flannel anyway, but I keep my house cold in the winter. It gets into the 40s in my bedroom. Scrubs would be like wearing almost nothing getting out from under the blankets. If you keep more typical temps in the house, seems like scrubs would work pretty well.

@Ricardus depends on your tolerances for certain fabrics. Surgical scrubs aren't made to be soft when worn directly on bare skin, they are made to be robust enough to wash at extremely high temperatures and not immediately fall apart - also to resist biological staining.Good pajamas are designed to have soft / unobtrusive skin feel, help you regulate body temp - which fluctuates a lot during sleep - and not restrict any part of your body.Same shapes entirely different Utilities.

@Ricardus I have one, I do not use it as pyjama, but I think it should work well.

@Ricardus I'm in MD. so pretty temperate, and getting warmer as years go on. I try to heat my looong rancher solely with wood heat, so if I'm not there to feed a fire, it goes out and gets colder. I have access to all the wood I want free, both due to my job, and my hobby of doing treework. IOW, cause I can.Aside from that, I like the cold. Being under a heavy wool blanket with cold air on my face is like heaven. I'm starting to enjoy life again. I only get about half of every year :^)
