       @RebekahWSD@mastodon.social @prahou@merveilles.townA story within a story would be really cool, but adding that extra complexity might be hard to carry out for a writer and sometimes even for a reader to understand 😅Like Watchmen has a comic book about a sailor that a boy reads, which is a metaphor crucial to understanding the main plot. AFAIR it's better developed in the original visual novel, but the movie wasn't too bad at it either.Or like Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita has a secondary plot line about Jesus, which is revealed to be a novel that exists in the main story.
