hello @publicvoit, as you have good insights on info management, i wanted to know if you can have a look at what we are doing on the rebirth of the #openEventDatabase projet about the naming and tagging of events.this data base is like #openstreetmap, it collects any kind of located and online events, meetings, international days, and signaling events like "some animal was detected here" or here is a car accident. we have launched a few scrappers to gather things and defined a few category of events.we use dot separators to go deeper in specificity, like :cultureculture.musicculture.flossculture.days community.osmtraffictraffic.accidentany category can have tags in their properties too, events are simple geojson. before we get more data i was wondering how we could make things better defined, using a controlled vocabulary as a community and avoid having several very different ways to categorise the same concept. this is our documentation : https://github.com/openeventdatabase/backend/wikiand here is a front end to watch and edit current eventshttps://edit.oedb.cipherbliss.comif you know people that would be interested to build this together ;)
