       What is wrong with people that have billions of dollars, hundreds of billions of dollars and know that there are people, innocent people even children who are starving and dying, and not use their enourmous wealth to save them? Are all billionaires psychopaths?

       @Dave_GoldsmithYou need to math a little harder if you think their wealth spread evenly over the bottom 50% will make a modicum of difference. Besides, plenty of them are quite philanthropic anyway.In other words, the problem is just more complex than you think. But the good news is that if you really try harder to understand it, you can start to have more useful ideas than those of generic naive college kids, like you've just outlined.
