It isn't uncommon for a woman to hit or push or slap a man. I've been in a relationship like that before I had matured. The key for men is to leave before you react. Get out, get away and stay away. My friends who have not, even if they had been hit multiple times went to jail on their first return. It isn't worth it. If you have to leave and come back for your valuables bring witnesses or police. The same person who hits can also lie about being hit. I had good friends who helped me out of my one go around with a violent woman. Luckily I never made a similar relational mistake again and have a wonderful wife who will walk away and come back with a clearer head when emotions start to take over and the conversation isn't progressing.
