I already have the story heavily worked out, but I was curious what someone else would do with it: what's his personality like?what sort of siblings might you give him?how do you think he's going to get them back together? how do you think the porn might play out and when? what do you think his or any of his siblings feel about the situation? etc.You can keep it brief or go into detail i'm just wondering how others would use a concept like this because the meat is always how the individual

@afairmaiden Ooo this is already such an interesting premise even without getting into the specific story decisions.. It has the potential to be a fairly long-running series too.It would make sense to have each sibling have a dedicated story arc or few chapters fleshing them out, romancing and bringing them into the group, at least at first, to establish a rhythm (which can then be subverted later). Most harem-type ecchi and romcoms do this (Fruits Basket comes to my mind oddly enough lol)

@afairmaiden My take on this premise:- Kyen strikes me as the manic pixie dream twink type, I'd lean into that hard. Very eccentric, almost performatively so. I feel like he's been trying to fill the void his siblings left by trying (and failing) to get with people who look like them. Utterly afraid of being alone, needs his siblings back.- Each sibling would cope with the separation differently. The first would try their hardest to leave everything behind them and

@afairmaiden it's a lot to think about, for me. I suppose the first thing I would explore is why he is in love with his siblings despite them all being separated. Perhaps the love is parasocial, or he's romanticized his memories heavily.

@afairmaiden the way I would play this premise would be like this: kyen would try to do something to make them happy but instead it would either annoy or anger them. Eventually he does something sexual towards them on one of them accident. Then he comes to the conclusion that maybe if he finds a way to have all of them have sex with each other then they can finally be a happy family. This would result in him having sex with his siblings individually then finally have an orgy with them.

@afairmaiden Kyens personality would be vary kind but vary dumb. He has a heart but sometimes you would say and do things that would actually piss you off. Which means he's not very good with talking to people outside of his family and even then his siblings would pick on him and they'll get into heated arguments. (1/2)

@afairmaiden However he would say something very stupid which would make them laugh at him some time he cries and make fun of him more because of it. which eventually for some reason makes him laugh and bonds with his siblings more. In general he is not very good at socializing with people but there's a charm to him that makes them love him. (2/2) ❤️

@Lethargic WOAH lot of thoughts omg i APPRECIATE all the time and energy you put into fleshing the concept out, it's definitely really different than my version which is cool! I like seeing the ways people can pull a concept in so many different directions! @afairmaiden and she only hangs out with someone if she thinks she can get something out of them. Very transactional view of relationships. The only time in her life she ever felt like she was on equal footing with anyone was when she was with her family. Third sibling is a gambling addict who is seeking out the others just like Kyen! But he's only doing it to try and borrow money and then ditch them first chance he gets. A blowhard who has no filter and never thinks before he says anything.

@afairmaiden But at the same time, the most genuine out of all the siblings. He has no interest in mincing words or being sensitive, life's too short to walk on eggshells around everyone. He isn't a bad person at heart and he means well, but his vices always lead him to make poor choices. Fourth sibling is an accountant who has been repressing all memory of his siblings since the separation. He is obsessed with the need to be "normal," which ironically has led him to adopt many odd quirks.

@afairmaiden He eats the same meals everyday, only wears one type of outfit, etc. Such commitment takes a lot out of him, and he unwinds on weekends by discreetly engaging in hardcore BDSM with people he meets online. Arguably the most stable of all the siblings, but also the most depressed. Filled with longing but refuses to acknowledge it. Fifth sibling is a drifter who's off the grid and never stays in one place for more than a few days. Does various oddjobs and favors for strangers.

@Lethargic i've been crying at "discreetly engaging in hardcore BDSM" because that's actually one of the siblings in my story because it was too good not to play with it.I think it's interesting how you worked out all the jobs the siblings might have in your version of the narrative, and what it might mean about them and how they pull themselves to avoid their sadness about losing touch w/ each other.

@afairmaiden getting into messy love triangles/squares, keeping secrets, breaking promises, etc. Some siblings are more or less into it, others are a lot more hesitant and take longer to get used to the situation. @Lethargic OK i need to ask when you use the word harem, do you mean it more as a joke or as a staple trope to how to interpret the relationships, because I know that context matters in how the characters interact with each other, it doesn't sound like you're describing the literal harem trope it given the latter explanations though.

@afairmaiden been thinking about it, cause the premise alone has sooo many ways it could go. If it were me doing it in a long form comic, I'd want to space out the reveal of what separated the siblings, as if it's repressed trauma being slowly dug up. If he's in love with all his siblings, I imagine that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and he has romanticized memories of childhood. Also I was thinking he would be either the okdest or close to the middle in terms of age.
