if I could get paid to help charity and non-profits with software development, I would. but a lot of the orgs I see have very limited funds unfortunately.

@Skoop they have plenty of funds, and they go into ED salaries.

@alrs the ones I've recently been talking to don't. one is just a single person trying to create a non-profit startup and having trouble getting funding (but the idea is fantastic). the other has been struggling with funds for years already and runs mostly on volunteers. they may have one or two paid employees, but with minimal salaries. it's more a passion project
