@vik colourblind here (protanope, specifically): Red/yellow/green/amber LEDs are indistinguishable, and effectively just on/off to me. Worst bit of tech UI design ever and a constant bane of my life in tech.

@WiteWulfPS I can kinda see blue/green now due to being a guineapig for diffractive IOL implants, which give me effectively continual focused vision whether I want it or not. The trick only works with small, bright patches - like LEDs - as I see spectra. I actually really like 'em, though rainy windscreens etc. were tricky initially. The trials determined unsuitable for general use, but suited me.
