       I’m not the kind of woman who goes to the salon.When my hair starts to annoy me, I pull it tightly back in a band, take a pair of scissors, & cut it as close to the band as I can.That way, when needed, I can pull it back from my face, but it stops getting tangled & pissing me off.Did that tonight.As you can imagine I definitely don’t bother coloring my hair.When I was a child, I was a towhead, now the summer sun keeps me blonde but what’s shaded from it — at my nape — is nearly black.

       @Nonilex Mine was similar almost white blonde as a kid, darker/golden as a teen and I had those highlights from the sun. Now I am 100% silver gray and have been for many years. As the other commenter said, it’s good to be young
