       I'm poking around on the web looking for food banks and similar things to help out with, money or time etc.  Came across the CSA movement (community supported agriculture) which is a fairly broad Good Thing (early market buying of small farm output to help stabilize them and get farm products direct). This name "eRoots" pops up all over... Stinks of a scam. Dropped my with marketspeak boilerplate language, turns out to be a marketing group in Spain. In my area alone there's waaay too many of them offering great ideas and little substance, as opposed to straightforward orgs connecting farms and people pretty much directly, low and seemingly transparently.  eroots.org and .tech.The kind of scum that parasite off poor people.

       @tomjennings I ran a CSA for a couple of years. Can confirm it created some stability for our market garden. While it never could have created economic stability for our farm alone (since CSAs are typically discounted fairly heavily compared to retail sales) it was a good portion of our income.

       @tomjennings I had a quick look and found some stuff about power grid analytics, which seems to be their main focus."eRoots is a spinoff from the CITCEA research group at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC)"They have not grabbed the eroots.cat domain, even though they are Catalan.

       @tomjennings The salesman slop is pretty nauseating, like some kind of Strategy Boutique.It's not much better on the Spanish site.However, I don't think the 2 companies are related, apart from using the same name. There are no people in common on the 2 About us pages (.org and .tech).
